Most of them have been sated with our reversal of the chicken curse. It was obvious in all of our games last season that we were the better conditioned , more physical team .
I say Batson is doing well .

Batson's system didn't start producing the desired results until Coach Swinney hired a few assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaches, and a Nutrition Specialist. They also incorporated nutritional supplement guidelines along with the Food and Nutrition Program.

Why would you even want to come at fans like that regardless of what side of the Batson issues you were on. Batson has been with the Strength and Condition program at Clemson almost forever. For what ever reason when fans were calling for something to be done with the S&C program, there was a problem. Be it with slackness within, or with Batson himself becoming stale on the job, it happens. If you can't see that when our fans thought that there was a problem somewhere in that link and voiced their opinions of our players being out of condition and yes they were being pushed around. And yes I do believe that Dabo turn that link into a strength after getting that department with the players and staff headed in the right directions. Don't throw stones at the fan base long after what ever was happening in that department was corrected. There has been a training table since then, a dietitian since then. Dabo has turned the S&C program around. I think that Batson is now doing a tremendous job for Clemson under Dabo Swinny's tenure. Under Tommy Bowden tenure, our S&C did really suck, and I will confess that Batson worked with what he had to work with under TB. Dabo gave him more to work with, and it has turned Batsons program into a plus, and can be credited with much better conditioned and stronger athletes. But to throw your stones at our fan base bc we did see where our biggest weakness was is just wrong. I wholeheartedly believe the fire Batson crowd has helped in bringing the changes. I personally don't believe there is a solid Clemson fan today calling for Batson's head today. Batson is doing a great job, and maybe it was Batson himself that went to Dabo and said coach, I need better to get better results. And personally I don't care what happen, I'm just glad something happened and we are much better for it.

Go to Webster's Dictionary, look up "peanut butter"....you'll see Vic Beasley's picture there. I don't understand and have never understood the "Batson Bashing" on the forums. He has:
"coached, in football, 32 All-Americans, 106 All-ACC selections, 45 nominees for national awards, 24 Strength and Conditioning All-Americans, 8 NFL First Round draft picks, 59 NFL draft picks, 11 athletes chosen ACC Player of the Year, 4 Super Bowl Champions, and has helped Clemson to an appearance in 15 bowl games."
Not sure what else the man can do. Of course my personal fav moment is the video of him in the locker room screaming "Dominate, dominate, DOMINATE" to the boys in Orange.

a decade under Batson's tutelage.
It was also common knowledge that Dabo was ready to move in another direction before finally settling in with a nutritionist and Batson's commitment to bringing in some modern, more aggressive training techniques and routines. It started before the LSU game, and we've played more physically ever since.
The anti-Batson gang were right. To Joey's benefit and willingness to change some things, and the program's commitment to modernize, physicality doesn't seem to be at an issue anymore.
The people continually busting the ballz of the anti-S/C training crowd are equally as (insert negative adjective here). Let's move on.

I haven't seen a fire Batson thread in long while. Also, don't misconstrue combine shape for football season shape! Those kids have months to prepare for the combine and have way more time to for muscular training. You'd be foolish to think that Vic will look like the Combine Vic physically in week 6 or 7 of the NFL season. It's like studying for a test.
