I hope Rashan Gary

Dec 4, 2016, 2:56 PM

will enjoy watching us in the College Football Playoff from the couch.

He will likely be there a couple of times before he is gone.

Dec 4, 2016, 2:58 PM

Still great that he has to watch this year. Great that Harbaugh has to watch too.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

they lose a ton. OSU was considerably younger this year***

Yep, this would have been UM's year to beat OSU if

Dec 4, 2016, 3:05 PM

they were going to.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Good point, but their recruiting has gotten so much better..

Dec 4, 2016, 3:10 PM [ in reply to they lose a ton. OSU was considerably younger this year*** ]

They had a top 4 class last year. You are correct though that OSU is on the rise too possibly. Michigan may have their best days after Gary leaves t the NFL in a couple of years.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

are they really recruiting better or is ESPN overhyping UM because of Harbaugh***

How's the sunshine up there in Michigan????

No worries, it'll come back around in late April to early May. Enjoy.

IMO Rashan Gary was a bust compared to Dex

Dec 4, 2016, 3:10 PM

We all heard the comparisons to Dex and Fridge. I took that with a grain of salt, until the crime scene he left behind that once was Deondre Francois. Dex is the best freshman defensive player I've ever seen.

Gary is a stud. Wish he was in our rotation.***

Gary's lack of production probably has more to due with the

clown he has coaching him.

I really believe a large part of our success is our staff unlocking the full potential of our players. Gary probably would have had more reps and for sure better coaching at Clemson.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Dex definitely had the better year, and may be naturally

Dec 4, 2016, 3:14 PM [ in reply to IMO Rashan Gary was a bust compared to Dex ]

better than Gary, but he definitely has much better coaching than Gary has and that may be why. Gary going to Michigan guaranteed him three things:

Spending 3 years with a truly insane coach
Horrible winters
A much smaller payday when he goes into the NFL

Is Gary's position coach at Michigan his old high school coach?

If so he definitely could have benefited from coming to Clemson and getting an additional prospective from a coaching standpoint.

Didn't you mean with a grade of slaw? I'm confused.

let it go

Dec 4, 2016, 4:13 PM

all I care about is the guys who choose clemson.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Agree. What is with the butthurt

Dec 4, 2016, 4:18 PM

Some guys decide to go in another direction. It isn't like we aren't going to get great DEs...Jordan Eilliams anyone.

Re: I hope Rashan Gary

Dec 4, 2016, 4:29 PM

Maybe Gary just wanted to be the big fish in a little pond instead of our BIG pond. He probably gets way more PT at UM than he expected at CLEMSON.

I'm sure he'll enjoy watching the tigers/buckeyes at coach Harbaugh's New Year's Eve sleepover party...
