LB is not a position of need in the next class but we have one or two good ones committed.

We missed on our top tackle targets but have three good interior linemen. Basically we broke even on this front not gaining any ground.

I appreciate your solid analysis, but how is signing 3 interior lineman who are all 4 stars a break even year in OL recruiting?

We are doing ok at tackle.

Our biggest needs are on the interior.

I would have loved to get one of the tackles, but the interior guys were more important based on current results.

the casual fan sees our troubles on the interior and think/believe our need is inside. The experienced fan knows we are thin at OT and have lots of guys who just need to grow and gain experience on the interior. Basically we don't have a single tackle prospect in the next class which is troubling as the skill set for interior vs. tackle is as different as slot receiver vs. the 9 position.

if anything he sprinkled a little sugar on it. The would be prize of this greatest need was landing 1 of 3 elite OT's, time & effort + we weren't late w/ the introduction & offer; legit shot at 2 but was not to be. As a perrenial CFP team, one year removed from a NC signing 3 top250-300 at the G/C position breaking even. I'd be shocked if any cracked the 2deep(maybe the C), likely all RS. Only 3 OT's on the roster (a trueFr- WParks, possNFLdeparture- JCarmen, & Jordan Mcfadden)
