I have the utmost respect for Jim Grobe

Dec 17, 2013, 10:08 PM

He ran a great program at Wake and won there. Never had problems off the field with his players. Best wishes and future success to a class act.

We do Chicken right...it's not just for frying anymore!

He was a middle guard and a linebacker in college ....

Prior to becomming the head coach at Ohio University (95) and eventually Wake (2001), Grobe was primarily a linebacker coach.

I look for him to take a year or two off and mebbe get back in at D2 or D3 level. Wouldn't mind him being here in some capacity. He'd be a good asset, wherever he goes.

Good Luck, Jim G.

and met him a couple times. Didn't know me from Adam but would sit there and talk to me as long as I wanted. He would be an asset to any team-a very quiet power.

Re: I have the utmost respect for Jim Grobe << ARMY

I think he would be a perfect fit at Army. No FSUs or Clemsons in the schedule. And he really can get a lot out of less than stellar talent.

Recruiting at a service academy would be tougher than Wake***
