But my God, the announcers and the sports world are already slobbering all over the place. He made one great play and you'd think he just replaced Johnny Football in the QB heap of greats. I say JF because they worship him so much, too.

Yeah I agree but at least Johnny Football earned his stardom. Didn't hear much about him before the season. Been hearing Winston's name since E.J. Manuel walked off the field of the orange bowl

Part of me hopes he doesn't meet expectations because of the fanfare he's received but part of me hopes he's every bit as good as they want him to be so when we throttle them there will be no excuses

To his credit, he's performing as advertised so far. 8/8 104 yards passing for 2 TDs in just a hair over a quarter. He's good. Granted he's playing Pitt, but he deserves credit.
