Not likely to happen, but wouldn't it be great if the SEC beats each other up and we end up with Clemson, Utah, Oklahoma St, and Iowa? Shut out all of the ESPN Teacher's pets. No SEC and a bunch of new faces. Unlikely at best I know, but this would be a nightmare for Bristol!

That's what I am hoping for, everyone in the SEC with at least 2 losses. Of course, then Espin would just spin it as proof of how tough the SEC is.

I don't know if we will actually see any of those teams in it. Its just a dream scenario ti kick espn in the junk. Heck. Now you have people already trying to put Bama and Michigan into the playoffs. SMH

Before yesterday's blowup to Texas, I was hoping for Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, and of course Clemson.... I'm sure that would have made for some good conversation.

Personally, I'd like to beat a new team that we've not beaten in the past. To see OK St, Bama, Baylor, TCU or Michigan in there would be sweet to add to our resume of upsets (over OSU, LSU, and OU)

In all seriousness, I want Bama. They've been ESPN's poster child for a decade now and they're considered the ultimate "big boy" in college football. It's a team against whom we often compete for top prospects, and a win over Alabama is a huge statement in today's media-driven environment - it tells the whole world, "Look. Clemson's here to stay now. They play big boy football up there in that gorgeous corner of the upstate." Something like that is a springboard for another decade of high-level success.

We have the potential now to be where Bama is currently - where every loss is unexpected; where top recruits call us in an effort to get a spot. A championship this season just might get us there.
