If the official at the time didn't have a problem with it, I don't see why we should make a big deal about it. The official was in the wrong place.
I'm not saying he was right to do what he did, but it doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

Ironic how fsu's highest profile media representative is also the source of their greatest embarrassment. And it's the university's own doing. Amazing the lengths some will go to in order to win football games. That is the real story to me the "enabling of Jameis".

The referee shouldn't have been there in the first place.

The clock had started and they were in hurry up mode he did what he had to do to get to the ball and nothing more. I expect one of our players to do the same thing because the longer he let the ref sit there the longer they would have had to wait. I don't like winston but lets not let hate blind us and act like bitter irrational children, I agree with what he did and so does the referee in question and the ACC. What the helll was the back judge doing behind center in the first place? The whole situation was strange

"It wasn't that bad" "He's just trying to run the play". Blah, blah, blah..My God, everyone has become a Jameis apologist! I don't care if he spits on the side walk, he deserves to be punished to the full expert of the law. He is a menace and a scourge on CFB and sports in general. He believes he is above even the simplest of rules. Bottom line, he is entitled.

When an OL raises his hand before the snap, they throw a flag for a false start. But that OL didn't mean to do it so they should pick up the flag. I don't believe I've ever seen a player deliberately shove an official and get away with it before.

The mechanics of where the ref was standing seems wrong because he should be over the ball instead, but I've seen this happen before when the ball is signalled ready for play and then the offense subs. At that point a ref usually runs in and makes sure the defense has the chance to sub (as that is the rule). Mechanically, he needed to be over the ball, but it happens that he can't get back to the ball due to the center already being set.
And while I don't think this is the offense that should get him suspended, I am quite surprised no flag was thrown as you just can't put your hands on the ref.

and while I believe FSU has created a climate of student-athletes who believe they are beyond reproach, this particular incident seems to be a fairly innocuous or benign.

Then again, he's used to getting by with forceful touching where his advances are not wanted. Mark my words, Winston will showcase his talents one day, but it won't be on an NFL playing field. It will be for an hour a day on a prison yard. I have NO respect for Winston, and even LESS respect for FSU.
GO TIGERS!
