I dread see the coaching carousel begin

Cause that means they'll be bugging our assistants the rest of the year . A few come to mind ; 1 . Butch at UT 2. Ed Ogeron at LSU 3. Kevin at Texas A and M
Anyone else ?

Ogeron isn't getting fired after one season. Even if they wanted to they probably wouldn't because of his $12 million buyout.

In addition, Alleva doesn't want to admit that he made a horrible decision to begin with.

Your mostly right about the buyout. Buyout is 12 mil minus the money they have paid his this year. So if they fire before dec 31 biyout would be little over 8 mill. I still don’t see that happening.

Still a lot of money especially since the Les Miles buyout was pretty high. Also, it would send a message to other coaching candidates that they have to meet unreal expectations their first season.

Can LSU's AD really fire Coach O after one year? I hope not.

I hope not too , but you know the seat can get hot when LSU loses to Troy at homecoming .

Ed is fine. The other two are gone. It will cost LSU 12 mil to fire Ogeron.
Imo, Ogeron is changing the nature of the LSU team from an almost pure rushing attack to a spread which can/may eventually become a good team. That's what the LSU fans wanted and they need to relax and let the man work.

While I agree with you to an extent, there are also some rather troubling signs as well. A lack of discipline, getting a lot of penalties this season, as well as being generally soft at the LOS. Also something last night that was a bit troubling, and that was putting the blame for a mistake on an assistant and players. Old adage I have lived by in my own career, when it's good it's the players, when it's bad, it is on me. Just my .02 cents.

I think Ed is leaving out fundamentals just like Butch @TN.

Hatfield and Bowden did that to us. When you're so concerned with teaching a system to people who struggle to get the picture it's pretty easy, I suppose, to look past the basics.
I was most impressed with our ability to tackle and block in the VT game. I'd rather see that than lightening flashing down the field wearing a Paw.

Petrino to LSU or UT. I think he is gone from Lville after this season.

Yes Petrino bailing I can see. Orgeron isn't going anywhere after just one season.

Butch Jones buyout is 9 mil so they may have to endure him for another year.

They are 4-1 now and arguably the 4th best team in the SEC

They beat Nicholls by 10 points, Louisiana, a bad Arkansas team in overtime, and a bad South Carolina team by 7 points with each game being at home. Three of their next four games are against Bama, Florida, and Auburn. Let's see how he's sitting after that.
