Dabo has established rules-
Clemson only wears orange pants for "championship" games - that is the division championship, state championship, ACC championship, and the bowl game/playoffs.
Clemson only wears purple on Military appreciation day.
We wear Orange home jerseys and white road jerseys (unless the home team wants white, then we will wear orange).
Given these rules, I know exactly what we will be wearing. The days of orange jerseys and purple pants (or vise-versa) are over.
That said, I do like & miss some use of alternatives - especially white on purple (either tops or bottoms).

Since Dabo arrived, the uniform choice has been pretty much a given.
Personally, I’m glad we don’t need to “hype” a uniform combination.
