When the chips are down, people show their true colors. Cam is a great athlete, but spoiled and immature. He knows that the media is going to ask stupid questions. That's when a real leader steps up and takes one for the team. DeShaun Watson would be respectful, take all the shots fired and him, and still go home a winner.

DW4 doesn't have those same attitude problems. Cam's problems stem all the back to his early college days.

Cam has always been that way. When he first got to Carolina Steve Smith had a lot of issues with Cams sulking.
When things don’t go his way he’s the biggest baby but when they are going his way he acts like he’s Gods gift to football. DW4 is 100 Times the man Cam could ever hope to be

I am on Cam's side with this...
As we all know the media is full of snakes in the grass who will twist and distort statements to fit their particular agenda or to cause drama. He just doesn't want anything to do with them anymore and I honestly do not blame him. The first question that lady asked him after the Super Bowl loss was "why did you run away from that fumble". I consider him just "Marshawn Lynching" the media and I love it....

Like the OP said...I would never expect Deshaun to act that way given the same scenario. I don't care what the media's angle or agenda is.

Well with all due respect to DeShaun, I don't think the media will ever treat him like they do Cam...but then again, DeShaun isn't as flashy as Cam and doesn't command that much attention.

He's not as flashy as Cam, and that's a very good thing. Deshaun is a team player. Cam is not. Also, I agree that the media will not ask Deshaun questions like this because his answers will be correct, above board, and for the media - boring (aka not newsworthy). Cam, on the other hand, is an immature time bomb who can (and does) explode at any moment. His drama plays right into the hands of the media.

Just when you think Cam might have grown up a tiny bit he proves otherwise and his true colors shine. At this point in life it’s probably safe to say thats just who he is and won’t ever mature.
