And decides not to do the muslim call to prayer! Until the so called "moderate majority" denounce the so called "extremist minority", no American city/campus/etc should be subjugated to that. Have at it in your homes and mosques, but pumping it over a loud speaker for everyone to hear is not cool.

I believe they're still going to do it, it just won't be announced from the Christian chapel.

I have no problem with whatever religion people choose to follow. My only problem with the Duke story is this "would Muslims allow Christians to pray in a mosque?"
I think not. And most people would have no problem with Muslims not allowing that.

Ask the people of Dearborn MI how they feel about the call to prayer.

Short Answer: YES, they would. I was working in Sanna, Yeman with a few guys that are Muslim and we went to a really large Mosque on their weekly day of prayer. They went inside while another guy and I walked around the outside. Two guards came up to me and asked me not to take photos so close to the building but that was the only objection we had (and in retrospect I was being rude since being that close I was taking photos of peoples faces inadvertently). When our coworkers came out we all went to lunch together (just like the Baptists but a lot earlier since prayers only last about 20 - 30 minutes) and I was asking them what the building was like on the inside...they all looked at me and asked "Why didn't you come in?" I told them I thought I wasn't allowed...they all replied "You can come in anytime, you don't have to knell and pray, you just have to be quiet - just like in your church". Freedom of religion is a basic tenant in our society. That was not intended to be interpreted as "only Christianity is allowed". Once we do that, which is where many want the US to go, we will be no better off than the countries our forefathers fled from.

It's not the country, its the people. Church's are made up of people and sometimes one or two (or more) of them go bad.
Hitler: Christian McVey: Christian
Don't judge a religion based on the misguided actions of a few. At least that's what I learned in Sunday School.

Islamic Extremist is a large scale problem worldwide.
And Hitler was no Christian, he was more of a Nordic pagan.

Isis, Al qaeda, PLO, Boko Haram, the boston bombers, the paris massacre, 9-11, etc. I can show you numerous examples of "moderates" celebrating and excusing these events.... I wanna see those that denounce it!

jmgard58: Before posting as you did perhaps you need to do some reading re the Muslim religion. Many great books on it and kit really isn't what they say it is--a religion of peace--sure, right?
