I, along with every other tiger fan, hated Steve spurrier while he was coaching but now I kinda like the guy. After watching him on ESPN first take the day after we won the NC and him just talking great about our program, DW and dabo got me to actually start respecting him. Especially when Steven A Smith said Clemson didn't win, Alabama lost the game and Spurrier replied with something along the lines "no I think you have to give Clemson credit, they definitely won the game with the play by DW and Clemson's defense by forcing all those 3 and outs"

Always fun to see his press conference and no telling what he would say. He understood that you can draw attention to your team ,media wise, in other ways. Guy needs to be a commentator.

I've been criticized in the past for my love of Spurrier, but the further he gets away from being the South Carolina head coach, the more people seem to come to my side. On top of being one of the best coaches of all time, Spurrier is far & away the most entertaining figure in the sport, in my opinion. He's the best.
