I'll be driving to Dallas to witness the lugubrious Notre Dame fans on December 29th. Along the way, I'm going to stop in at Shreveport, to cheer on the Duke Blue Devils as they trounce the Temple Owls.

Tickets to that game are as low as $6. I imagine I'll be able to find a few for free littered upon the ground on the walk to the stadium.

Since we are all conference fans first, and Clemson fans second (ACC! ACC! ACC!), I expect to see all of you there at the Independence Bowl at 12:30 CT on December 27th.

It was right before Christmas in 1985 during my first year in Grad School.

I have no plans of EVER going back.

It was not a particularly memorable or enjoyable experience.

Do not leave your two tickets on the dashboard of your car. Someone is liable to break in and leave two more tickets. Just be careful!

I have never pulled for a school just because they're in the ACC.

There are a lot of folks who do.

My daughter wanted to get one of those ACC hats so I took away her phone for 2 weeks. I'm not raising a coot.

Hope she learned her lesson.
