sure we were going to win! I agree that the best team that night won the game. I just can't stand to see us lose. Am I the only person feeling this way?

I agree. Why torture yourself by rewatching? I flush the loss and am grateful for what we have accomplished and try to move on. Really don't have anything to complain about with the success we have had recently.

... rewatch with a purpose in mind ... Nothing I learn from rewatching a loss is going to help them at all - just increases my misery index from watching a gut wrenching performance ... ??

some of those series in the 3rd qtr where we were only down by 3. The one series that killed us was after Skalski got booted we had a Pass Interference called against LSU and ended up at the 45 yard line. WE were down by 10. Needed to score on that drive to keep the pressure on LSU adn were still doing pretty good on offense. But this is when the 3 and outs started for us.1st play was an overthrown 30 yard go route. Now its 2nd and 10 then a false start on anchrum, now its 2nd 15 (i'm thinking get 8 or 10 on a nice sit down route or something and we throw a busted option route to Etienne behind the left tackle and the linebacker blows it up. Now what once was a huge possession is a 3rd and 16 and Trevor has to throwit out of bounds....and we punt...again. That was drive where i thought was the huge swinging point. Had to get points there. LSU then drives again and the rest is history.
And thats the way it should be. To win a championship those are the drives that you take advantage of the penalty and you capitalize and get back in it or you lose. It was a great year, LSU had our number this time, but we'll be back looking for retribution. GREAT time to be a CLEMSON TIGER.

advantage of early. There a couple of bad passed by Burrow that we also didn't take advantage of (3rd and 19 DPI that should have been an interception and the dropped pick 6 by Turner). But give Burrow credit, he was the difference in the game - made plenty of great passes that only his guy could catch and avoided our pressure a few times that lead to big plays.

Because in person I was convinced the refs were on someone’s payroll and wanted to see if I just had a bad viewing angle. I didn’t.
Thought about watching the LSU game partially for the same reason but can’t honestly say the refs cost us. Maybe if we had played better including converting some 3rd downs but......

About the 3rd downs and going 3 and out, OSU ended 7 of our drives 3 and out ...
Knew that we wouldn’t keep up with LSU if we had that type of drive summary ...
We had 9 drives of just NOTHING

I couldn't wait for it to show up on youtube so I could watch it in detail. When I watch it live I am in full rooting mode and not even approaching rational, so I like to go back and watch more objectively. I really can't put the loss away until I feel like I have some better understanding as to what happened and why.

I don’t have a team allegiance but I know for LSU fans that’s how it was back in 2012. I suggested if they rewatch something, that it should be the signature win of the season so they can remember the good times and the highs instead of the very lows. Something that took a lot of manpower and sheer will and motivation to rally against a seemingly untouchable opponent and pull out the W. For LSU fans that year, it was the Bama 9-6 game. For Clemson fans, I guess the signature win was that real nail biter against North Carolina. Watch that instead of the NCG.

I think all Clemson fans are the Hillary supporters in this metaphor. As a voter and football fan I don’t disclose my team or candidate allegiance.
Also, was not trying to be insulting at all. The North Carolina game really showed what this Clemson team was all about. I don’t understand why people understand the Tar Heels and their 6-6 record. These tried and true titans of the ACC went on to win the Military Bowl.
