I doubt Urban ever has suspended a player from anything meaningful. He comes from the secheat where many of their coaches give many, many, many chances before any punishment.

Guess you didn't notice the 7 chances spurlid gave Garcia or the harsh punishment of not letting him practice in some Spring drills for his misconduct. Mark Richt has let many slide, as well, and Auburn has a rich history of issues (the most sanctioned program in the entire NCAA), as well, but you are free to think whatever you wish.

I think CUTiger1989 was being facetious maybe? (I was judging by the "wink" face at the bottom of the post). I don't think, however, that this behavior is limited to SEC coaches & teams. You never know what goes on behind closed doors. It doesn't matter if you're SEC, ACC, Big 10, etc.

Sorry, but I don't necessarily buy into the "everybody does it" mantra. I imagine many bend some rules, but the sec has written the book on it for fans, players, etc. It has served them very well in sports.

What exactly are you whining about during Urban's tenure at OSU? Do you really think OSU is going to allow him to run a loose ship?
You can say what you want about Urban and his time at Fla, but so far this year he suspended Hyde 3 games after he was cleared of charges. The guy who flipped the bird in the Michigan game did NOT play in the championship game. Now Noah Spence was suspended by the conference. You can question some of OSUs characters, but Spence wouldn't be one of them. You should probably let the facts come out.
