After all, do they not represent the State Of South Carolina ? All of those of those who diss the Fighting Chickens Basketball Team are just plain jealous. Yes, there is good basketball in South Carolina ... Clemson just has to "figure it out" ... bottom line.

I moved to Columbia area from Clemson two years ago. I was prepared for the worst after reading TigerNet! To my surprise there are a large number of Tiger fans living here!
To be honest, the Gamecock fans I've encountered have been very respectful. I have had numerous people approach me when they see my Clemson gear and have offered sincere congratulations about our winning the Natty! They make it clear they have alot of respect for Dabo and our coaching staff! They praise our players and admit that they would love to be where we are has a program!
I have met two fans in two years who were idiots. One was trying to sell me insurance and tried to tell me they almost beat us in 2015. He even said DW4 was overrated...I ended our conversation quickly and found insurance elsewhere! The other was was a Walmart cashier who refused to stop talking junk. (Told her I would pray for her/bless her heart)
Maybe it's my Pastors heart and loving all God's people but I have become friends with some Gamecock fans and I am ok with their basketball teams both having success this year. Life is too short to be angry over sports!

I still beseech that I am glad someone in South Carolina has a Basketball team not only in the NCAAT but also doing very well. Clemson needs to learn to how to do the same thing. No excuses.
