I am a big fan of President Jim Clements

I just identify with him better than any other President in the roughly 35 years I have been affiliated with the University. He is a fan, and seems to recognize the power and importance athletics have in the success of the institution. I have met President Clements a time or two, and he is an engaging guy, about my age.
I think that Clemson’s future is in good hands with the leadership we have in place. And Clements gets bonus points for wearing jeans to the celebration yesterday.
...and extra bonus points for having a last name that begins with the letters C-L-E-M!

Do not agree. Yes he is a very big supporter of football...not so supportive of academics.
Since he has arrived the school's academic rating has consistently moved backward, from 20 to 24 among national public universities.
We have a recent graduate son who spent four years in the honors program and never saw Clements at any honors college event. He was due to present at one of the private honor society events -- but a no show there.
Meanwhile we were reading about his picnicking with recruits' families. He never fails to be near Dabo or on stage when the football program does well. I wish he would invest more time and effort on university academics.

Nothing but a PC politician party boy. Doesnt give a #### about academics or Clemson traditions. More concerned with his image and resume, and appeasing everyone than being loyal to Clemson and our values.
And #### DRad too. Both need to be shown the door ASAP.
