Rahsaun Smith and Dabo trolling Spurrier

Mar 26, 2015, 10:01 AM

Getting a good vibe from his coaches on this still. I know he had that interview where he has mentioned the four hats and Clemson isn't one of them, but you know how kids like to promote the drama. Now, I haven't heard from him (it sounds like no writers have heard from him except the one that chased him down in MD), but that isn't worrying. I will keep chasing and let you know what I hear throughout the day.

Also, just wanted to throw this out there.....I know Dabo and Spurrier have been known to have a little back-and-forth and I've seen it first hand. Dabo's comments last night about Deshaun (he is healthier now than when he beat South Carolina) were in no way a jab or a troll or anything. He was talking to ESPN's David Hale and we were all standing around, and he was dead serious when discussing Watson's health and was using that as a measuring stick. A couple of sites that weren't there and really don't cover Clemson like the rest - they rely on us to post videos so they can use quotes and cover from afar - decided to make something of it. I guess when you never show up and don't have a clue what is going on you have to create drama. Just my two cents.

Mar 26, 2015, 12:00 PM

times when Spurrier makes these type comments that don't really mean anything.

Now, with Spurrier, he usually is trying to jab us but not always.

I hope you're really not that ignorant.

Mar 26, 2015, 7:21 PM

I don't care if you were there, that was definitely a jab at spurrier. Of course he's healthier now then when we beat SCar, he had a torn ACL! He was definitely taking a shot at spurrier, saying we beat them with a seriously injured QB. If we didn't win, he would say something like "he's progressing nicely, everything is on track."
