This is really why I love the fact that Dabo is our coach

I was hearing all of this negative stuff about covid, protocols, schedules, Notre Dame, opt outs, Pac12 player demands, etc. And I hear one post-practice speech from Dabo addressing all of that in his usual positive way and I'm ready to roll. No wonder he gets the best out of his teams and players. How lucky we are to have him as our coach. They don't make many like him. And you know when people write articles saying which new young coach will be the next Dabo, well that says it all.

season before hearing from Dabo today. That all changed after his meeting with reporters.

call it like I see it, mixed in with some panic, some negative, but a lot of posts of the day, and some hall of fame, with some sky is falling sprinkled in. Like I said, 86 is about right. Need to take some lessons from Dabo and be more of a half full guy. I can sure see where he is great for these players.

So very true......a born leader. He has a vision.....articulates his vision......and never veers from it. Never has since day 1. Never says a negative syllable about any of the assistants or the players. Is so confident in himself and needs no stroking. What a pleasure to hear his pride and optimism.
