Interesting comment by one of the Raiders receivers saying that he discusses route running with Renfrow. When asked why he said that Renfrow runs the best routes of any receiver on the team.
It got me thinking. I see a scenario where he plays in the league for about 8 years. Retires and comes to Clemson as receiver coach. No offense Dabo but he could be the best receivers coach ever at Clemson.
Then gradually moves up to Offensive Coordinator. A few years after that, Dabo retires......... Just sayin'..... I've heard that receivers coaches make great head coaches.

No argument with your comments, but for someone who runs some of the best routes of any receiver on the roster, maybe somebody needs to tell Jon Gruden what you just said.
I know it's only 2 games, but 5 receptions for 58 yards total and no touchdowns, it seems to me the Raiders aren't utilizing his skills enough.

looking at Combine numbers and not enough time watching actual game films. Renfrow will never have the "measurables" of some of these speedy wideouts. All he does is get open and catch the ball, all the time. I guarantee you the Dark Lord Belichick keeps somebody glued to the waiver wire in case da Raiders are ever stupid enough to cut Renfrow loose.

Well the TE Waller was an unstoppable machine last night and the third time they got the ball to Renfrow on that play, he went out with an injury. Renfrow had a tie for 2nd for most receptions and was 3rd overall. I love Renfrow but he has continued to surprise me. I wasn’t sure his game would translate in the NFL and it obviously has.

Derek Carr is top 10 in QBR so I think they are doing fine. They have some great WRs and a great TE.

At eight years, he would see a second contract (say four years, 40-50 million). Would he want to coach with that kind of money?
I see Dabo moving upstairs after his youngest graduates and Brett taking over.

I say Renfrow will play for 3-4 more years, then he will come back to Clemson as an assistant coach. Dabo will retire in 8 years and 3rd and Renfrow will become the new Clemson head coach. His legend will grow with each year as the Tigers win 2 more national championships to go along with the 6 they have earned to that point.

OMG, it's the Charlie Waters longing all over again.
I love 13. Hunter is one for the ages at Clemson. I hope he lives a rich, full and useful life but I have no idea if he wants to coach at Clemson or if that would be a good move for him. Whatever he does from here on out his legacy is secure.
4 to 13. Touchdown! Flip the ball to the ref and walk off into history. Thanks for the memory.
