I was a tad concerned with our inability to gain consistent positive yardage. I would hate to look similar to FSU monday night.

I believe OL will be tested and come out with B-grades

or better. I expect Aggies will be fired up and bring it in the 1st quarter. But IMHO Tigers have way more player and coaching talent (than FSU and Tx A&M) and will win this important road game by 10+ points.

No way we look in any way like Florida State. If for some reason they begin to live in our backfield, Tony Elliot will start calling for designed QB rolling out pass plays to slow them down. Don’t mind this because KB seemed to throw better last year when rolling out. Don’t worry, we’re going to be just fine.??

We did get stuffed a few times but I believe play calling was conservative against Furman. We also averaged 7 ypc.

Yeah, the play calling was at a bare minimum, & for good reason. I’d like to see Dixon run the ball some more. That kid was electric!

Play calling was intentionally as vanilla as coaches could make it. You never show you strengths when playing a decent D1 team the very next week!!!

Even if the get some pressure from their 1st string DE’s expect us to exploit their rotation. 2nd string DE’s are both freshmen. Hope they leave the 1’s in till they wear down then throw the freshmen in when we are settled down & clicking. Could get ugly for them.
