How the hell is OK

still considered a tourney team. I don't care that they had a great first half of the season with good wins and some would say a generational freshman (not me). They have a 7-10 conference record and when they loose it's been a blow out. They are 17-12 overall and still considered at worst a 10 seed. Hell Clemson should have several appearance in the past 10 years with that kinda of record. We beat good team and finished .500 in the league but were relegated to the NIT. No way this team should be getting an at large bid.

There's way too many teams that get in. Should be at most 32

I think part of it is the Trae Young factor. They like personalities/stories/stars in the tourney for coverage pieces.

They're #38 in the RPI rankings despite their record. That, and Trae Young.

#55 (in 2010-11) is our highest end-of-season RPI since Brownell took over.
