How good Will DJ be?

I’m looking forward to this year’s spring game because I want to see DJ U in action. Does anyone think he’ll come in and just blow everybody else off of the map in camp? Would he win the job as a true freshman as Trevor did, or will we redshirt him no matter how ready he is to play?

If he lives up to the hype of the arm talent, I'd imagine he would beat out Taisun. Its said hes got generational arm strength. He seems to be smart and should have no issue getting the play book. Taisun is really good too so thatll be a fun competition to watch.

I wouldn't be surprised if TP doesn't try and switch positions or transfer. TP is a great athlete, great footwork don't get me wrong.

I won't write TP off certainly. Competition is healthy.

But DJ seems to be at the level of TL and DW4 coming out of high school.

Forgive me on the initials, I'm just a lazy speller and typer.

I am sure that he is already coming in with the understanding that TL is the man this coming season and that assuming he earns the #2 he will be playing sometime in a number of 3rd and 4th quarters along the way - great situation for him to ease in during his first year - then the next two years could be his! Working alongside TL this year will be great for this kid!
