on a 0-2 count? Sounds like you wish he would groove a fastball?!!!

A pitch, out of the zone anywhere is acceptable in that scenario!!! He is simply trying to get him to chase a pitch he cannot handle or drive.


Now if it were a 2-0 count (2 balls and 0 strikes) and you had just walked 2 . . . then yes, it is time to groove one!

Some people on here apparently never played past Dixie youth. They expect our guys to hit 110 mph line drives every at bat, and the pitchers to strike out 10 per game. Heck if we don’t score ten runs they complain. A 4-3 win over the #16 team is nothing to scoff at. And some people forget they were 25-1 at one point. That just shows you how strong the acc is this year
