Hoop signee OMax Prosper played well last week...

Everyone talks about PJ Hall having a great year for Dorman, but Prosper doing special things for the NBA Academy events. Played well last week in Chicago at the Without-Borders Camp same location as the NBA All-Star Game weekend. He already is getting a lot of looks from NBA scouts. Here are some links including a dunk contest video where Prosper paid tribute to Michael Jordan with a leaping dunk from the free throw line:

The recruiting services give him high marks for his game. I’m confused about his home however. He was reported to be a Canadian but I read where he is from Illinois yet he is finishing his schooling at the NBA Academy Latin America. Looks very athletic and a guy BB can turn into a real go to guy I believe. At 6’8” should fit right into the lineup.

Yes, he is from Canada. He played two years of prep ball in Illinois before going to NBA Academies specially in Mexico.
He already right from the get go have an immediate impact defensively. He can guard at least 4 maybe all 5 positions.

It takes a couple of these regardless how long they stay to improve our recruiting. Football has helped from name recognition already and will continue to help get them on campus.
