But she closes the article by saying Clemson and Bama "are the teams to beat" and goes on to say that of all the teams mentioned in her article, Clemson is "a lock" to make the playoffs.
So no, I didn't really come to your conclusion. It was nothing more than an imaginary "what if" because ESPN wants to build some drama running up to the inevitable--Clemson vs. Bama part V

Clemson. Biased much? They are tired of seeing Clemson there, and yet 4 of the 7 matchps listed have Bama in them. Why are they not tired of Bama, who has been in every single playoff so far? Again, biased much? She might as well wear a sign that says "I SEC for money."

All but two of the SEC matchups are on there because it involves quarterbacks playing against their former teams. The other two are Saban vs. Harbaugh, and Alabama vs. Georgia since the last two games have been so good between those two. Those all make sense to me. Clemson has pretty much played all of the likely CFP contenders in recent years, and none of those teams have one of our former QB's leading the way.

It's not really something against Clemson; it's more about hype and ratings. They want the games that they think can create the most hype and the best ratings.

I'd enjoy watching UGA vs Ohio State.
The way Fields has looked (granted, against weak competition) makes me wonder why he couldn't see more time at UGA.
Winner of that game gets a shot at the Tigers.
