Paul Finebaum: "Clemson is the most dangerous team in the country"

Haha people get so worked up about him. But he does it for ratings. He knows that all challengers have to go thru Clemson. They are the champs and he can ride them. He’s just feeding the hype

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I dont think he's saying anything for ratings. He's not that smart. I just think

Nov 6, 2019, 9:45 AM

he's that much of a dumbarse. He doesn't know what the heck he's talking about on any subject. He just makes it up as he goes along, with no rhyme or reason whatsoever.

Exactly.

I'm not sure why we get updates from an SEC "analyst" that has an ax to grind with Clemson, but we never see anything from the people on the ACC Network.

Dear TigerNet Staff: Everybody has opinions (like a certain body part). Not all are equally credible.

Just stating the obvious.

Sounds like he's giving us props. But he isn't.

What does 'dangerous' mean to an analyst? Hint: it is NOT a recommendation to have extra EMS staff on hand.

It means we are capable of surprising people who don't adequately prepare for us. It means we can exceed expectations. And it means we are the best team outside the Top 4 who clearly are not 'dangerous', because people actually have a basis for expectations for them.

So basically he said we're the #5 team in the country.

PFU, Paul.

I agree with "Can we not publish this?" Finebaum is not a fan, and he may be saying this to get into our heads. I like it better when he criticizes us because then, it's sweeter if Clemson proves him wrong.

Bit lazy, imo. He only states the underdog role but the claim of us not playing that well is off. Same old blind eye to us playing depth, I see.
