Re: Already waiting on material

I am debating to print a real size one for the man cave.

I made the first one with a little platform, and debating doing the same. Have 2 side-by-side.

If I print a real size one, I would like bondo and smooth it to look more realistic.

Can you make the real size one solid piece or gotta do it in parts?

have to be parts. Which I do for workpieces a lot anyway. Just create a blind hole in both pieces to use a wooden dowel. I use SuperGlue to piece them together. Sanded, you can't tell.

And, it wouldn't be solid for sure. They have settings for density of fill, which honeycombs the insides to be rigid, but not use a lot of material.

Example of inside, you can see the green layering of the honeycomb:

This ends up being about 70" long. About 12" tall.

Took 24 prints. Some pieces you can get multiple parts on one print bed. Bondo'd and ready for more sanding. Waiting to be painted now

Somebody should make a vending machine, for vending machines.

That'd be one BIG vending machine
