Like we all know this boils down to money. If FSU is having some problems financially, then I could see them looking towards the Big 12. And it does make sense for the Big 12 to look east. They desperately need to find some schools on this side of the country for WV.

Would it suck for us to leave the ACC? yes and no. Yes because the new road trips would be expensive and exhausting. No because Swoffie is an idiot and I would love to get another $7-8 mil per year for our Athletic Department.

Even if we left the ACC, I could see us doing some out of conference games with the likes of Wake, Duke or State. Would be easy to play those games rather than an SEC school.
