When you let a team score 8 in the top of the ninth you sorta open yourself up for that

Happen. We left struggling pitchers in too long and that was obvious. No I'm not an expert. But even I knew that.

Monte didn’t make a single pitch.

If he’d have put in a better pitcher and got us out of the inning, you all would be complaining that we wasted a pitcher with an 8 run lead right before a double header.

You all would have done the same thing with an 8 run lead. Except now you have hindsight to question all the decisions.

He was just trying to let him work through it I believe. Didn't happen thought but I don't blame Monte for trying to give his pitcher some confidence.

He screwed around for four batters with a guy who had no chance of getting an out. He didn't take the inning serious until the bases were loaded w/ 1 out. The score was 11-7. You don't wait until the tying run is at the plate.

But thanks for your opinion. Allowing struggling pitchers to stay in the game is not good strategy, but we can and will win this game. You keep up the hard work of trashing other fans ?????????
