31-17. Could have easily been 45-17. Yes we let them get within 3 but took it back over again. We controlled both sides of the ball. Turnovers did hurt us but but the committee can see how dominant we are.

FYI.... FSU missed two easy wide open TDs that were dropped. They could have scored 31.

Part of the game is making the throws and catching the ball. How many TDs has Cain dropped or Bryant over/under thrown this year? 40 points worth easy...

Yeah......... and the point he was making that we "could have easily scored 45" was assuming we didn't fumble in the red zone. If you are going to say we could have scored those and had more points you should count the opponent misses as well.

considering we have struggled sometimes to hook up with the long pass. Easily 40 points but I would guess 56 or so would be closer if still not low. But if folks are counting scores fsu didn't make, might as well consider our failures too.

Meh. We kinda did struggle particularly in the 3rd quarter. My gripe is that we hear about the linebacker issues at Alabama but not a word about the injuries in our secondary.
With a defense at full strength and KB playing the way he did prior to Syracuse we have a legit shot to repeat.

Secondary, both linebackers, and a D lineman. Quality depth has kept the Tigers alive the last few weeks. Hence the ranking.

FSU had the ball at the Clemson 40 with under 7 minutes left in the game, and down 17-14, and we scored a touchdown with 3:05 left to make it a 10 point game. So yes, I'd say that was a struggle.

Did you see the final score? It was a 17 point win for the Tigers. Sure, we let them play around for a while in the 3rd quarter and into the 4th but then we instilled our game upon them and made a statement. The statement was - we beat your a$$ by 17 points. more than double their point production.

Replay the last 6:00 of that game against a good football team, and the tigers would have absolutely lost the game. FSU are losers through and through. So yea, I’d say it was a struggle.

on their roster than Clemson. If we don't turn the ball over at the FSU 1 yard line, and again at the 2 yard line, we are up 28-0 at half time. They were fighting for a winning season.

Committee understands FSU is not your typical 3 win team. Just as talented as anyone else in the country. Just have had some tough breaks this year.

Yes they did cause them i give tons of credit.to that DE. We did not struggle. We had some mistakes on O and they hit a trick play to score. We controlled the game. We out gained them by 150. Better than Miami or Bama did against them. BC blew them out idk what was up with that but besides that FSU out gained NC St and Miami and barely lost both of those game. They are not bad. They held Bama to under 300 yards. We controlled a pretty good team and played pretty bad at times.

He also suggested if Clemson played Miami at Hard Rock we would struggle against that environment. He seems to have forgotten we waltzed into AU's house, scored two TD and only gave up two field goals to them.

that late INT we could've been tied or even trailing with probably 4-5 minutes to play.
We played well in the first half outside of the 2 fumbles down at the goal line, but we looked like crap for the entire 3rd quarter and half of the 4th.
These are our 2nd half drives before we finished the game with 2 TDs.
6 plays, 13 yards, punt
6 plays, 28 yards, punt
5 plays, 11 yards, punt
8 plays, 36 yards, punt
6 plays, 29 yards, fumble
31 plays for 117 yards in total and just 3.77 yards per play. That's horrendous. Our offense is definitely still a work in progress - if something can still be a work in progress 10 games into the season.

Oh I agree it was not easy but we did not struggle. We dominated on D and our O moved the ball very good in the 1st 2nd and 4th quarter. They came to play for sure but I would say Bama struggled more against Miss St than we did against FSU. It was on the road for them. We beat State and FSU 2 weeks in a row and we don't get credit for it from some of the media. Cfp committee thought that was impressive I do believe. That is all that really matters.
