Crouch to Tennessee?

Dec 16, 2018, 11:43 AM

Just saw where he visited UT and now the sentiment is that they are the team to beat. Owell if he's that crazy to go to that dumpster fire then BYE.

You have to wonder why anyone would go there.

I doubt insulting him will be very persuasive for us

He was going to sign during the early period and announce during the All American game. If he gave the coaches a silent already and then went on a visit to Tenn he's not coming to CU.

Maybe not but I've just seen a lot of those situations go

Bryce Thompson ended up at UT because Pruitt and Fat Phil have no reservations about anything. Everything I heard was that it was more than just grades for Thompson. They promised Flowers he'd be a starter immediately which is why they got him too.

If he's going around giving multiple teams silents then we know how that turns out, it already happened once this cycle with Kelly.

and you know this how?

You must be really tight with the coaches!

Making a statement like that based on something you read on a fan based website seems like an over reaction.

Exactly. What is the source?

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Vol Nation Remmeber Feaster ?

Dec 16, 2018, 12:03 PM

They claimed he committed the weekend before signing day too. Seem to remember them trying to claim Watson also visited their SECRETLY.

Re: Vol Nation Remmeber Feaster ?

Dec 16, 2018, 12:08 PM

It was posted on his Instagram. He definitely visited this weekend. I guess we'll just have to see what comes of it. If he had silently committed to Dabo and then took a "secret" visit to Tenn though he's not coming here regardless.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If you remember Feaster ?Instead of panicking

Dec 16, 2018, 12:12 PM

IF YOU REMEMBER Feaster visited and they tried to claim he committed, Feaster's Dad made a special trip to see Dabo to set everything straight.

Good God at least know what you're typing about before hitting POST.

The source is a very reputable Clemson recruiting reporter and no its not TCI LOL.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LOL I'd trust TCI before I'd trust Ard

Dec 16, 2018, 12:24 PM

Strelow is s good one, but Ard is a joke and far from reputable.

Talk about a dumpster fire of a program.

Tennessee hasn't been relevant on a National level since Fulmer was the coach.

The Vols may be worse-off than u5c.

Re: Crouch to Tennessee?

Yeah, everything I’ve heard this morning says Tennessee. It’s long been believed his best relationship is with the Tenn. running backs coach, but that has been mostly overlooked recently. This all could be “official visit high” and might wear off (Crouch is VERY impressionable) but I do believe Tennessee is very much alive, and have believed so for a while. I think Michigan hasn’t been oversold, and think it will come down to Clem/Tenn.

He's listed as an Athlete and under the Tiger recruits as RB. He wants to play LB from what I've heard. Maybe TN is talking LB to him. The Tigers already have some good LBs and 4 good ones committed.

Re: Crouch to Tennessee?

Dec 16, 2018, 12:35 PM

Clemson wants him as a linebacker, possibly molding him into an edge rusher, however, we have told him we’ll give him the opportunity to play offense, as well. Michigan also wants him as a linebacker. It’s strange, because Tennessee is the only contender who wants him mainly as a running back. I think it’s coming down to his relationship with the Tenn RB coach, who I mentioned he has a very good relationship with. I think this is partially “visit high”, but I think there is some merit, too. He’s liked Tenn for a while. Even Wiltfong at 247 had his initial crystal ball in favor of Tenn

Re: Crouch to Tennessee?

Like to read what you guys say. Never posted before. Chris Wienke is the RB back coach. I think Crouch’s main recruiter is Brian Neidermeyer the TE coach plus Pruitt.

Seems pretty clear to me the young man likes the color orange and was comparing and contrasting the shade of Tennessee orange (similar to baby poop) to Clemson orange.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

My take on him, and what I have heard.

Dec 16, 2018, 2:01 PM

Recent news says it's down to Michigan and Clemson with the possibility that Clemson leads.
So sure, he visited Tenn and now he might be alil confused again. But for me, the bottom
line is- and it's not a knock on him, but more on what meets the need of Clemson.
And IMO- I am not totally sure he's a can't miss prospect for Clemson. Heck, most schools
aren't real sure what to do with him. Is he a LB, a DE, a RB...sounds like he's not totally
sure where he wants to play which could mean a very slow start to his college career.
For me, Give me 2 big TIME O-lineman....and I am as happy as can be.

He has always seemed to be very impressionable...

Dec 16, 2018, 3:48 PM

His current favorite always seems to be the school he visited most recently.
