Tua’s dad is probably gonna get some backlash for

Dec 1, 2018, 11:26 AM

His interview. They said there would be belt involved if he didn’t play a good game. By all means I’m all for punishing your kids but having a bad game and then beating them with a belt to me isn’t right at all.

I think it's ridiculous for playing a bad game. I had interactions with a belt many times through my early years, but never for something like playing a bad game.

He didn't say that specifically - he said the belt for......

discipline - didn't actually say he beat him if he threw a pic.

My late father was exactly the same way as this guy's father and I turned out fine - loved and respected him all my life. My brothers knew he had our best interests in mind and that he loved us deeply.

I'm one of those "old guys" on here and understand the difference between discipline and abuse. The problem these days is that younger people think they're the same thing. Discipline has vanished in a lot of families - that's the real problem as I see it.

At the end of the day football is a game. In the grand scheme of life it doesn’t matter. You don’t hit/beat a kid because they preform badly. If they actually do something wrong okay but not playing well in a game is just wrong to me.

Who is also committed to Alabama and playing in high school. Wonder if he's getting the same treatment
