Sure, he's going to give up 20-30 million $$ to play TWO more seasons of college ball ! What a ridiculous thought.

I agree with you . In normal times , a junior would lose leverage if he came back. this year its just like a soph coming back .

If he returned next year, would he be sharing more time with DJ? Both are outstanding.

Shades of the Chris Leak- Tim Tebow duo that won a Natty at Florida.

Leverage? I thought that only worked in baseball where you get drafted as a junior and then decide to stay or go.

Hopefully this will be the last time the press asks Trevor

this question until after the season. I'm sure he will let us all know his plans when they are final so there is no use in bugging him about it till then.
No matter what Trevor decides, Clemson will be in good shape at QB next year...

Trevor doesn't have leverage

He's leaving no matter what and everyone knows it. I understand him trying to play it both ways now but his big mistake was announcing his intention to leave a few weeks ago. Then he hedged. This is why the issue has blown up so much.

Not playing in two games, one against a top 4 team hurts

his Heisman Trophy chances. I'm sure that would be something he would love to bring to Clemson University, something Deshaun Watson was robbed in 2016.

If he's returning for 2 years yes, hate to see DJ bounce!
