Haven't seen any mention of the Confederate Flag coming down

As it pertains to our state once again being able to host ACC Championships and NCAA postseason events. Both Steve Spurrier and now Ray Tanner have weighed in and said take it down. I'm not big on the coots but I think they have this right. Our universities athletics are really taking the biggest brunt of the NAACP boycott. I don't see anything/anyone else that its hurting.
Never thought I'd say it but take it down. I'm ready to be able to host ACC Baseball Championships in South Carolina again and NCAA tournament games in Greenville.

Although there is a great deal of emotion attached to this issue and understandably so, this is not something that can be changed easily regardless of who wants the flag to come down. there is a law that says it must stay and stay in a certain fashion. Changes to that law will be very difficult to pass.See below.
“The provisions of this section may only be amended or repealed upon passage of an act which has received a two-thirds vote on the third reading of the bill in each branch of the General Assembly,” the bill read."
I am not trying to state this in a fashion that indicates how I feel about the flag one way or the other, only to inform that when the flag was taken off of the top of the state house, laws were written to keep it in its new home for quite some time. Politicians, newspapers and citizens can all have their say, but the flag opponents sold their souls to get it taken off of the roof and will pay the devil again to get if off of the Confederate Memorial grounds.

and think about this...cave in and the next thing is everyone will be coming after Tillman Hall name change...better think about what you wish for...
just like you said this was all settled a few years ago by VOTE to be placed where it is now...

Tillman Hall name will changed. Tillman thought murdering Black people was good thing. As soon as it is used against us in recruiting, it will be changed.
