They should be talking about the fact that his life is better documented than any figure from ancient history and the abundance of manuscript evidence that supports the New Testament writings, but instead they are having a counting cars marathon. Smh.

That is true. I’ve noticed they push the opinions of critical historians when they do but I still think they are interesting.

I’ve read the entire New Testament and just got through a study on the Old going through each book.
Reading “about the Bible” is a great way to help you learn the context it was written in, the audience the writer had in mind, and the point they were trying to get across.
Blindly picking up writings from thousands of years ago and trying to understand them from a modern perspective is how people either A come across a confusing verse or something that sounds bigoted and never want to pick it up again or B take something out of context and form an incorrect opinion and you can see how that has harmed Christianity producing so many different denominations.
They are all in error in their own ways and sadly, a lot of them recognize their error but it has become such a part of their tradition that they won’t change it.

True, but unless you live in North Korea you know who Jesus is and Christianity has probably had an influence on your life even if indirectly.
