Hallo! - “ celebrities” ... its not about the frickin food!

It’s about being a part of history.

It’s about the honor of being invited to The White House.

It’s about THE PRESIDENCY (not the president)

No one gives a rip about eating lobster with Michael Strahan and whom ever these other poseurs are.

It’s not about the frickin food!

Idiots!!

Funny bcuz when the Prez tweeted about the visit he mostly

wanted to talk about the hamberders and reminded us that he paid for them, rather than focusing on the National Champions.

He focused plenty on the Tigers. He was pointing out that he was not circumventing the policies of the "shutdown."

Like a verbal minefield. He mentioned picking up the tab because a lot of libs don’t want to spend needlessly on occasions like this. He planned on serving burgers because if he was serving wieners, the BLTBBQ crowd gets upset. If he mentions fried chicken, he’s accused of being a racist. Glad it wasn’t fish, the Pope might have chimed in! Sounds like he did pretty well to me!!

^^^ doesn't know how to spell "because" then rips others...

...who make typo's. Wonder what the other things the fascists might go after like plastic straws, drink sizes, fast food...oh, wait.....LOL!

Not sure why Tiger fans feel need to sow political discord.

Political leanings have nothing to do with the visit or the food.

As the OP stated. It’ not about the “president”, it’s about THE PRESIDENCY.

+1 for spelling "poseurs" correctly.

Our players already have the ability to eat lobster and steak pretty much every night, they probably have better chefs than the president.

Lobotomies for Republicans, it's the law.

I dunno. I might go for Strahan and the lobster or

that awesome restaurant in Chicago over fast food at the White House. I'm easily swayed by good eats.

Then they could just bus them over to “Pixie & Bill’s”

laughing because there wasn’t enough pizza, but it was NEVER about the food. It was all about celebrating the team.

They know that. It'a all about attention for them.***

Exactly. This is what the people blinded by their Trump hate can't see. It wasn't a "celebration dinner" as this arrogant pretentious chef seems to think. The team didn't go to the White House for dinner, period. They went to meet the President, tour the White House, and be honored for winning the championship. And they had some food while there, which is usually not the case for these visits. And these new offers for dinner have nothing to do with honoring the team. They are 100% to do with dissing Trump. It's basically "Come eat here because I hate Trump".

They want the publicity and when some of these Tigers are in the pros, they hope to gain more publicity. If the Tigers were to accept these offers, it would be all over the news media and free ads for the restaurants. If I were in the restaurant business I would jump all over an offer to the Tigers.
