after thinking about it, who could VaTech hire that would do better?

I thought Fuente would hit the ground running and do well, but maybe VaTech's success over the years was due to Frank Beamer. Now that he's gone, perhaps they have returned to their natural place in the order of things (which is mediocre at best).

VaTech is just facing the reality of not having Frank Beamer and Bud Foster. Their future is destined to be less than their past.
