Those of you going to the Sugar Bowl, take a look at Gulfport, MS......direct flights out of Charlotte, inexpensive hotels and a little over an hour from New Orleans.....a heck of a lot cheaper than New Orleans, too. With New Years and the game......New Orleans is an expensive destination for the game. Just a recommendation, before the BAMA fans start booking the flights and taking the rooms. Go Tigers!!!

well i just looked cause i decided today, its 9.5 hour drive for me and i can drive on one tank of gas for 100 to there and 100 back. we flew two years in a row to phoenix and it was outrageous, not gonna do that route again..
the cheapest flights i saw out of charlotte is like 500 plus but on alternate dates than id rather fly, still in the 1000 dollar range for me, and its two of us.. so good luck with cheap flights. i was hoping for 2-300 flights but aint gonna happen.
