I don't believe for one second this has anything to do with a family medical issue this boils down to his family wanting him at Carolina and they continued talking to the Gamecocks coaching staff.Tampering at its finest.

I disagree. If coaching staff tampering was what really happened that cannot be let go because it will encourage that behavior to continue.

They are our rival. We don't like them. This coot in particular lied to our coaching staff to get his way. He couldn't man up. Dabo took the high road.

I know, full-well, the back story. I know we hate THEM. And I know Dabo will always take the high road, in every situation. But this kid, in particular, exhausted his shine here months ago now and deserves no mentions on our board. Last time I saw of picture of him, he looked like a medicine ball with a helmet on it. Coots are gonna coot. Can’t wait to see their slogan for next next after we stomp them again in November.

You assume something went your way? You just got a year of an overweight, lazy, and entitled player who didn't want to put the work in required to play big boy football. That is why he went to a mid-major talented team.
What would have "went your way" is a redshirt year so you can steal a year back where you hope the kid grows up and figures out what it takes to be a big time player. Your best hope is those few weeks he spent at Clemson he learned enough from our 4 future high level draft picks to carry over to y'all to pull you out of mid-tier status.

Clemson is still light years ahead of $CU in both recruiting and coaching.
The kid simply couldn't earn immediate or significant playing time at what is arguably one of the top programs in the nation, but at DirtPecker U, he's a starter the day he walks on campus.
I'm just happy that you're happy with Clemson's table scraps.
Get used to those November beatdowns. It's not going to change any time in the foreseeable future.

Belk was "the man" in high school and expected to apparently just walk into Clemson and play meaningful time as a freshman. Lesson learned, everyone under Coach Swinney has to earn their place! Coach Muscrap and staff ought to be quite happy, but an overweight, lazy player isn't what your program needed! I hope Belk gets his education, but I doubt he amounts to much before his junior year.
Good luck in seeing him against his former team. It won't be pretty!

I am sure Scar tried to turn him while he was at Clemson and even through lies they got their NCAA waiver.
So now they have a very fat, very slow player that they must play (I’m sure promises were made).
Instead they could have done this legitimately and have a year to get the kid in shape.
I hope they dare to play him in DV. If Renfrow can go bowling with their faster players, I can only imagine us literally running over this kid.
