i paid mine a month or so ago - times have changed

i went up - HOWEVER
the world has changed so much.

first - at this moment I still love Clemson sports.

do i really care about changing the two names - ok - i understand some people would be offended. Personally - i take how people act and say wayyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of what a building that was named decades ago - but ok.
Does this affect my donation - NO

If this goes further and they start changing the special place Clemson is or want to change the school name - then - my world changes.
would that affect my donation to the school and sports - YES

If the barrage of negativity at DABO for no reason and attacking one of if not the best culture for decency and growth for all races, religions, etc - continues - then this also changes my world. If nothing else changes -
then I increase and fight.

I am simply sick hearted over all of this. not because of BLM wanting exposure and wanting to change some peoples mind and heart. (I personally believe that there is a small portion of white people that are racist). I do believe we can all do a little better though. I am sick hearted listening to the supposed announcers criticizing Dabo without speaking to him or the players.

If the politics of college football stay where it currently is - then i will stop caring.
I used to like pro ball (most all) - but it got too money driven and political - so i gave it up.
Now - if college stays political and takes away my "no political time" - a time when i enjoy not thinking about the worlds problems and only worry about my Tigers scoring - then I will be gone.

I will fish and I will play golf. I dont need more aggravation in my life. Will take the money i donate to the school and iptay and buy a bigger boat again.

Well said and I agree. I am probably not renewing, but will consider re-joining in the future. The silent majority has to do something. I love the school and what it has been and stood for in the past.

I have written on T-net years ago about the possibility of the whole college football thing going away before the issues at Univ of Missouri in 2015.

I think we are closer to that happening now; maybe, say, DEFCON 2.5.

The continued twisting of facts about cops, blacks, and ridiculousness of the socialist media will lead to more football strikes by black players soon. Maybe this year. Maybe in two years.

When you have cries from politicians published by mainstream media about Rashard Brooks (who was passed out in Wendy's drive-thru, was drunk (per breathalyzer), and attacked an officer and took his weapon) saying "black men cannot be killed while sleeping at Wendy's" it is going bad. Ditto for ex senior cop from GA saying the "cops should have taken him home." Are you fcking kidding me? He is driving drunk, and these a-holes want cops now to just take blacks home that are caught driving drunk????

There's hardly anyone to speak up and stop the lies...it will get worse and worse exponentially.
