Clemson Dominates National Champion Coaches - Updated

Lasting impressions do matter:
In May 2017 I commented on a great lasting impression Clemson had made on the list of national championship coaches from the previous three decades. After the 2018 national championship, it seems time to update the list.
The list below shows how each national championship winning coach since 1980 fared in his final game against Clemson. As updated: If I counting correctly there have been 29 head coaches to win a national title since 1980. Of course, some of those coaches have won multiple titles. In some years, there was more than one head coach to claim a title - back when the AP and the Coaches polls each determined a national champion.
Since 1980, the VAST majority of the previous National Championship winning coaches has a loss as his final (or most recent) memory of facing Clemson. The 29 national title winning head coaches currently have A COLLECTIVE 2-27 RECORD in their last games against Clemson. 2 and 27!! In compiling this record, I counted a coach's last game vs Clemson for each time he won the title (so Saban is counted six times, for example, since he has won six titles). There have been 10 title winners who have not faced Clemson as a head coach.
When I posted this info two years ago, Courtenayflash pointed out that Mack Brown had not faced Clemson as a national title winner (thank you, Courtenayflash). Taking that info into consideration these coaches have a 1-27 record in their final games against Clemson AS a national title winner! Mack Brown, of course, will get his chance to face Clemson AS a previous title winner in 2019.
Here is the updated list of the National Title winning coaches since 1980 and how each fared in his final game against Clemson. As of today - Summer 2019 - TWO and TWENTY-SEVEN (2-27) or ONE and TWENTY-SEVEN AS title winners (1-27)!!

2013 needs updating. Fisher's last game against Clemson was still a loss but it was last year with Texas A&M.

After we beat UNC this year, that will make it only one coach in this category to beat Clemson! When you update it then, you can correct the 2015 (first one) to 2017.

A corollary would be coaches who lost the final game of their career to playing Clemson in a loss. Switzer is one, Woody Hayes is another, Spurrier would have been one if he hadn't jumped ship. Maybe someone down in Florida?
