knock on Beer, but what has he done after 5 games. Granted, he is the main reason we have turned our baseball team around the last two years. Just asking. I know he is our MVP.

They pitch around him every game and he's been on base at least 3 times every game except today. "Only" one homer through 5 games... I'll take it. He's tsill going to hit .350+, 15-20 HR, walk a million times, and drive in a ton of runs. He's not someone you need to worry about.

Out of game with me tonight. Wanted to be heard and asked me if I had a kid on the team. I said no just a fan. At that point, he felt the need to ask me, do you know whose Stock has really fallen? Beer. Said he can’t hit with a wooden bat and his attitude isn’t any good. My response was he just seems like a quiet leader to me and haven’t seen any sign of a bad attitude.
My wife who knows nothing about scouts said that guy just seemed like a blow hard. Not sure where this unprofessional came from.

As a Braves fan... I would love to have him on my team... Don't know what that dingleberry was thinking when he said that.....

I feel better about this team when opposing pitchers work around Beer. Teo's bat is getting warm, a little more from the bottom of the order and this team will be explosive.

He will not get much to hit this season especially with runners on base.
Won’t see many fast ball unless we are way behind or 2 out with nobody on.

That’ll be the key for him, he needs protection behind him.
If Monte keeps the same lineup and Cromwell and Williams continue to hit like they are then teams will have to pitch to Beer or they’ll essentially be giving free runs.
I think the lineup is really good this year, so Beer should have some chances. He just can’t press and try to do too much.

When Davidson gets warmed up this line up could be lethal.
Of course Williams will cool down but he is a perfect #4 hitter
