Glad 4 the Sugar Bowl but Rose Bowl is truly the GrandDaddy of ALL Bowls..

I know since been to both and there's no comparison!

DaBO was a participate of the Sugar plus he wanted to stay close so Clemson Fans could attend more readily..

But I assure you the Ga Fans are happy we didn't take that grand ole venue.

And, the Rose Parade offers it's creative & huge floats covered 100% of flowers, the magnificent horses, dozens of bands, the celebrities, the electric crowd lined up for miles (some sleeping in tents for days to get the best close positions)..the extra world/wide coverage of both the 125+ year old Parade & 100+ year old Bowl are ONCE in a lifetime event.

We aren't going & I understand.

Bill, this is about your 10th post on this subject. The rose bowl would be cool but we are much better off in New Orleans for attendance. I’m sure we will be in the rose bowl soon enough since we are in the playoffs every year.

I don't understand why so many people refuse to understand that the CFP rules require that the #1 ranked team is automatically assigned to the game closest to their campus. The schools DO NOT get to choose the game site. Dabo did state a preference for the Sugar Bowl, but it WAS NOT his choice to make.

That's what I thought. I knew that last year the bowls were assigned according to rank. I thought I had missed some change in the rules. Anyway...Clemson is in the best place for them and the fans.

Dabo did not chose the sugar bowl. It was assigned to the number one seed based on distance, and it wasn't something we could opt out of. What are you talking about?
