They want as coach. Think they aren't looking at the right mid majors if they can't get the big name. Wonder if they tried Steve Alford or Thad Motta yet?

You can't see anything because your head is so far up your ####! You have been saying for weeks that our athletic department is horrible, that we missed the mark on hiring several successful coaches(just like so many other programs did) and that other programs (like Virginia Tech) know how to make basketball hires. You make it sound so easy with your posts but it's not. In fact, it's a crap shoot and even the most committed basketball programs struggle to find great coaches. Take a look at the trouble UCLA is having and they are one of the most storied and successful programs in the history of college basketball and they can't find anyone! Guess, that doesn't matter though. Just keep bashing D-Rad and showing T-net how clueless you are when it comes to this issue.

You guys crack me up.

As a rule, SEC sucks in basketball. But their checks clear.

The one thing you can take seriously about the SEC is their money. They make a fortune off that network and the fans' religious promotion of their conference. And even if a basketball HC is totally overwhelmed, he's basically won the lottery by getting hired there. And sometimes a coach gets lucky, riding the talent and enthusiasm wave of some young superathletes who have always dreamed of playing for the state school.

Their investment in basketball as a while has paid off....just ask UNC. They've been run off the court by two football schools in the last two years...and that's two top 10, top 5 unc teams.

Also, what might be stalling the UCLA hire, some say their one of their two top candidates are Bennett or Beard both in the Championship...
