Gentlemen, this upcoming season might be first time in my

May 11, 2018, 8:09 AM

lifetime as a Tiger fan, I see NO weaknesses at any position on our football team. Maybe a go to, pass catching TE but nothing stands out as a weakness. Over confidence is the only battle I see this team facing. This is going to be a fun season to watch. Any Juan see any problems I’m not seeing?

I didn’t think we had any weaknesses in 2016??
I don’t see any weaknesses, but I’m anxious to see how the oline run blocks

DB's in general. If Muse, Wallace, Terrel, Mullen, or Fields go down we will be in trouble. Hopefully our incoming freshman can help out w/ depth.

Safety depth has to be a huge concern. If Muse or Wallace gets hurt...We will be in trouble.

Running back pass protection, must be nice if that's our biggest problem

Lost a lot of dependable depth at OL...

Specifically, guards. Time for some of these younger guys to step up and be regular contributors. I see Cervenka and Bockhorst getting involved.

Depth at safety and CB is a concern too. But as far as starting spots, we are a pretty complete team all around

There are no problems at TE

Milan Richard can catch anything near him - some of the best hands on team. The issue is a lack of called TE passes, QB accuracy and proclivity of QB to pull it down and run. In spring game, Richard was 10 yds past his man on two passes - one was a sure TD. And QB threw both balls on a rope 10 yds over his head. QB replacement will fix the perceived TE issue immediately.

Garrett Williams will start all season. Milan can't block anyone to save his life and Williams might be the best blocking TE Clemson has had in the last 20 years

I'd like for us to run more 2 TE sets

now that we have Williams back. Tht will take the pressure for our RBs in pass protection. Also Milan Richard could benefit more as a pass catcher.

my other concern is depth at DB...if Goodrich and McMichael come in ready to roll then i'll feel a lot better.

As for Safety...as long as Muse has his head in the right place we will be fine. Our depth is a concern with Simmons moving to DoD's position but I trust Wallace back there. Wish we had more depth but we have solid safeties.
