NCSU football parking map is worthless. Anyone know a good place to pay-and-park?

Any bars close to the stadium to watch Bama/LSU?

Is right across the street from the stadium. My last game there 10 years ago there was free parking at some of the businesses right around that area. Not sure now though. And if you want a more enjoyable experience, I'd recommend wearing neutral colors and keeping a low profile...there's a reason I haven't been there in 10 years...think of it like Wille B Jr stadium but similar treatment...

I always park at the RBC Center (now called PNC Arena)...

There really aren't many bars or restaurants near the stadium. The only one I remember is the Backyard Bistro (used to be a Damon's years ago) on the corner of Hurricane Alley and Trinity Road. Typical bar fare (similar to an Applebee's or Chili's). It's going to be really crowded on gameday.

Just up Trinity Road from the stadium, there is a high school and a number of businesses that aren't open on weekends. The walk is a little farther, but parking is usually free and you're away from the fairgrounds and all the mouthy NC State yokels.

Last time we were there we parked on campus for the first time. Lots of stupid rules about where you can sir and what you can drink that prevent tailgating. Not sure if all areas are the same since we had always parked in private lots.
