Gamecocks Sharing Posts About DW Playing with Torn ACL

Nov 30, 2014, 2:19 PM

I am seeing posts on Facebook from Gamecock fans giving the Tiger coaches for playing Watson with a torn ACL. It is sad that they using this as an excuse? That we should not have played DW. Not sure what to make of this? First time ever that you have heard of a team coming to the defense of a rival team's player. They are trying to say that we are a win at whatever cost school and even have twitters from Emmitt Smith to help their case. This burns me up. Typical Gamecock crap.

didn't Elway play his whole career without an ACL?

some people are just physical and mental freaks... DW4 case in point

One name to them.......Latamore.....enough said...

tired of that crap

Nov 30, 2014, 2:23 PM

TONS of players have played entire seasons with torn, partially torn, or improperly corrected ACLs. John Elway played his entire career without an ACL! Doctors evaluated it, his family was involved, HE wanted to play that bad....the coaches did not force him to play. They need to get over themselves. An injured true freshmen lit them up and they're crying about it. If it was one of THEIR players, they'd be talking about how "tough the kid is." Just tell them Lattimore says hello.

^link them that and tell them learn to read...Watson made the decision to play, not Swinney. Swinney had it evaluated and allowed him to get what he wanted is all. Enough said.

They are just mad that Cole did not play...that DW playing injured....kick their ###... :)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Let me get this straight...

Nov 30, 2014, 2:26 PM

They're using us playing them with an injured QB as an excuse for criticizing Clemson, and somehow detracting from our win? How azzbackwards can you be? Playing that well with an injury is a badge of honor.

But then again, this is the school that considers doo doo clowney as one of their all-time heroes. That's who they are.

Re: Let me get this straight...

It's because they know the smack talk that's coming after that one next year. "Our QB beat your team with one leg and injured..imagine what he'll do to you this year". It's eating them alive knowing he won the game injured.

Who cares about what they say.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is their 'sleep' meds....otherwise they'll be restless.

Nov 30, 2014, 2:27 PM

They're the biggest DAs I've ever seen. They're all apparently doctors now that have personal access to DW medical records and know better than both the coaching and medical staff.

We will see how long they continue to 'care' about Watson win his putting a dagger in them for the foreseeable future. I'm sure they'll change their tune and hope their D lights him up come next year...bunch of idjits...

Boy it must really suck to be all butt hurt over getting your butt cut by a one legged man and a bunch of freshmen.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Truth is, we didn't want to play him....

Nov 30, 2014, 2:30 PM

But we knew against such a s h I t t y defense, there was no risk of any further injury

2012_pickem_champ.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Didn't the coots play Clowney

Nov 30, 2014, 2:34 PM

No, they held him out with a sprained ACL (Anterior Cruciate Labia).

"Dabo crushed my soul." --- Classof09

They're simply used to their star players NOT playing if

Nov 30, 2014, 2:30 PM

they have a cold, or a hangnail, or if their extensions are a little too tight.

No way they can understand why DW would play.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ignore it.

Nov 30, 2014, 2:32 PM

They're just pissed that we didn't let Lattimore run down the hill.

Time Out and back up the bus Gamecocks. In 2013 .....

Nov 30, 2014, 2:32 PM

Conner Shaw had a busted up knee and could not play against Missouri. Through 3 quarters behind Dylan Thompson, the Gamecocks trailed 17-0. Suddenly, Conner Shaw appears and vaults the Gamecocks to a critical road win in overtime. Hypocrites, are we????? If a player can go, and the medical staff clears him, there is no reason not to play him.

Who cares, coots I know are trying to say refs gave the game

Nov 30, 2014, 2:33 PM

To Clemson. They are football idiots

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Many of the jacklegs over on STS are saying same stuff ...

Nov 30, 2014, 2:34 PM

Anti-Dabo sentiment still going strong. Amazing what Clemson "fans" can find to criticize after a huge win.

STS should be called "SMH" ...

I am deeply touched by their concern for the safety and health of our players.

Meanwhile, EMS in Mid-SC has had their hands full of people attempting suicide by jumping out of windows of their double wides. Any known cause?

I would probably do whatever I could to divert attention

Nov 30, 2014, 2:57 PM

from the fact that my team got stomped by a team playing a one-legged QB....Coots are weird folk.
