What are the gamecocks planning for their historic, single, 50 year old, 7-4 Championship?

I have asked that to a huge Gamecock fan and got no response...

Be sure to remind them that this title was stripped from them by the ACC for allowing ineligible players to play during the season.

Never heard that before. Link to validate?***

They won the ACC that year. For a program as mired in misery as South Carolina, you really don't need to make stuff up. The truth is much more damning.

I do remember reading something about that, many years ago.

The reason that I found this, is because I was trying to determine if there was any gamecock coach in my lifetime that had a winning record against Clemson. This was a few years after Steve Spurier came to UofSuC. Marvin Bass in the 60's had a one game advantage, but this his win over us in 1965 was vacated.

That was their 1965 Team

and the championship was stripped from them.

None of their wins were against a team with a winning record. They only played 3 teams that ended with a winning record and lost all of them.

That's the definition

Of doing something that, in reality, is positively nothing, whatsoever. Now...just need a word to go with the definition. Scok-eyed?

Pretty much how they get their wins now, anyone with a slight pulse they lose.

Looks like they are about to commit mass suicide by jumping off W-B stadium.

They do not need to celebrate a ACC Championship from 1969. They are already a joke and celebrating that would just be icing on the cake.
