Their defense will be gutted, but they should be ranked high in the pre-season out of respect for this year's team. That's kinda how it works if you like at Auburn being ranked high after winning the title event though they lost their stars.

I could see #7 vs #13 Gameday at night in Clemson.

I definitely think so. Not sure what the other nationwide matchups look like but this has to be one of the most intriguing. Likely to be the only top 10 matchup of the weekend.
